Our friends invited us over for some gingerbread house making last night. These are our creations.
Compared to a friend of mine, who spent two days making the Lincoln Memorial out of real gingerbread, we are total amateurs with our little graham cracker creations. But Ed did win 'best house' at the party. He beat out a Lithuanian bungalow with outhouse, a stable in Bethlehem (complete with a diapered hot tamale standing in as baby Jesus), a bling-bling house, a hobbit house, and a replica of a local elementary school.

Those are cool! I want to make one too now. Do you get to eat them when you're done? Mmmm.... graham crackers, icing and candy...
Well, I ate a bunch of hot tamales and m&m's off of them before I threw them away, but really, I didn't need any more candy over the holidays.
